individual basis. The prices shown below can be used as a guide to the cost
of the service you require.

Please note if the interview is complicated and people are speaking over each other, or there is excessive background noise making listening and deciphering more difficult, then it will take me to longer to transcribe, this then has to be reflected in the price. 15 minutes of audio takes about one hour to transcribe. Therefore, one hour of audio would take approximately four hours to type. On a 3-5 day turnaround this equates to £18.75 per hour. However, the more people speaking the longer it can take to transcribe - hence the differential in the rates. Typing Matters is not VAT registered - therefore there is no VAT to pay. |
